we have taken pride in our commitment to spiritual growth ever since our earliest days in 1891. our commitment remains the same today.
there are many opportunities for you to serve your community and world. here, one of our students on mission in saba gives a lift to a young friend during a game of basketball.
in fact, we’ve developed these spiritual growth opportunities to move beyond our campus walls and into the communities around us — near and far. join your peers, faculty and staff in both short-term and long-term service opportunities that are ensured to intangibly bless the lives of those you encounter and simultaneously stretch your personal faith.
our annual service day gives you the chance to make a difference through local schools, hospitals, homes, homeless shelters, parks, churches and other nonprofits. everyone on campus clears their plans and cancels classes, so all are able to serve.
our robust missions team oversees 60 annual mission trips that bring the gospel to cultures across the globe through medical treatment, education, relationship building and other ministries. some of these are international trips while a handful are domestic trips, working to address the needs right here in our own country.
