embodying faith in academics
when klarissa jackson met the group of lipscomb students who worshipped in her local congregation, she was impressed by their character and demeanor.
now as a current assistant professor of pharmaceutical sciences in the college of pharmacy, she continues to be impressed by the integration of faith in a learning environment that promotes academic excellence. lipscomb has given her the opportunity to integrate her three interests: faith, teaching, and research. currently, jackson teaches in the doctor of pharmacy program and works as a research scientist, bringing innovation to her industry while developing student researchers.
she believes lipscomb leads as a competitive research university, especially in the pharmaceutical sciences. opportunities like summer research programs and a legacy of prestigious pharmacy fellowships are a testament to lipscomb’s investment in cultivating curious, committed students. our dedicated faculty and state-of-the-art facilities, such as the pharmaceutical sciences research center, help to position our students for success.
