lipscomb named to prestigious phi theta kappa transfer honor roll for eighth consecutive year

世界杯2022预选赛录像回放 is one of the top universities in the nation for transfer students for the eighth consecutive year as it is one of 228 institutions named to the 2024 phi theta kappa transfer honor roll. lipscomb is one of only five institutions in tennessee to be named to the list.
phi theta kappa’s transfer honor roll recognizes excellence and success in community college transfer pathway development among four-year colleges and universities. the transfer honor roll is determined by 40 key metrics related to the support and success of transfer students, including college cost, financial aid, campus life for transfers, admission practices and bachelor’s degree completion.
“this recognition is a reflection of the priority that we have had in making 世界杯2022预选赛录像回放 a transfer-friendly destination for a number of years,” said byron lewis, vice president for enrollment management at lipscomb. “transfer students bring perspectives and experiences to our classrooms and campus that enrich our entire community. our priority is to serve our transfer students well by offering an easy pathway to lipscomb and to make them feel an important part of the bison herd.”
lipscomb offers five academic scholarships to transfer students — the lipscomb pathways scholarship, the community college transfer scholarship, the phi theta kappa and national society of leadership scholarships, the transfer trustee scholarship and the lipscomb noyce scholars program. students interested in transferring to lipscomb may use a special online form to receive a credit evaluation and find out how their hours will transfer to the university. find the form here.

transfer trustees scholarship makes mitchell's dream come true
jazzmin mitchell (’22) knows first-hand the impact of lipscomb’s transfer scholarships. at motlow state community college in tennessee, she graduated with a 4.0 gpa and was a member of phi theta kappa honor society.
through her involvement in ptk, mitchell discovered her passion for helping people through service, advocacy and justice work. “as the ptk tn regional secretary i served hundreds of students with my regional team, and was able to edify many non-traditional students like myself,” said mitchell. “i used that platform to share my story of failure and success unapologetically.”
that experience led her to connect with a lipscomb transfer counselor who encouraged her to apply for the university’s transfer trustee scholarship. “i took my shot, and shared my story with him. he said, ‘we have the perfect scholarship for you!’ i applied for the transfer trustee scholarship,’” she recalled.
with her new scholarship in hand, mitchell finally attended the school of her dreams — 世界杯2022预选赛录像回放 .
“and, now, by the grace of god, i am a graduate,” she said. “it's truly god’s will that he provided the perfect path and provision for me to be a graduate of lipscomb. it was always meant for me to attend this school, and i am proud of it.”
the transfer honor roll was based on analysis from the national student clearinghouse, and on data submitted through the four-year institution’s profile on ptk connect, phi theta kappa’s online tool designed to help students find their best-fit colleges and career pathways. the honor
