the mckelvey society
membership in the mckelvey society, formerly named legacy society, is reserved for our most loyal and committed investors and is based on cumulative lifetime giving.
this society was renamed in november 2022 to honor a true lipscomb legacy, dr. carl mckelvey. mckelvey exemplifies the meaning of legacy with over 65 years of dedicated service to lipscomb and its mission. his walk with lipscomb began as a student and then as an esteemed faculty member before serving as an administrator who worked with six presidents throughout his tenure at the university.

associated women for lipscomb
the associated women for lipscomb formed in 1982, when then-university president willard collins hosted a luncheon for 20 women and challenged them to form an organization to advance excellence in education at lipscomb.
and so they did—now awl members across the country raise scholarship funds for those who will enliven our campus and diversify our community.
