geoff wright, assistant professor of physician assistant studies, joined lipscomb's pa program in the summer of 2020. prior to lipscomb, wright, a certified pa, spent three years as a hospitalist and acute care specialist at a community hospital in north carolina. he earned his master's degree in physician assistant studies from butler university in indianapolis. he also has a master’s degree in global health from the university of notre dame where he conducted his graduate research on health systems strengthening initiatives in rural zambia. he has additional work experience as a research analyst for the vanderbilt university institute for medicine and public health. he is interested in the provision of healthcare to underserved populations. he enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with his wife and son.
