professor williams has taught english and basic composition at the elementary, secondary, and undergraduate levels. a native texan, williams holds a b.a. in spanish and french—with additional graduate hours in english—from trinity university in san antonio, texas, as well as an m.ed. from southwestern assemblies of god university in waxahachie, texas. she has also completed 21 hours toward an m.a. in english as a global language at texas a&m university-commerce, and was admitted to candidacy for the doctorate in linguistics at northwestern university in evanston, illinois.
during her graduate training, she was a lecturer in the writing program at northwestern. williams has taught writing to hundreds of high school students in texas and virginia. she has also worked as a technical writer/editor on several commercial projects since 2014, most notably the uniform mortgage-backed securities project sponsored jointly by fannie mae and freddie mac in bethesda, maryland. she particularly enjoys teaching writing (and grammar) to reluctant learners.
during academic year 2023-24, williams will be teaching developmental writing at lipscomb and serving as director of the writing studio. she is looking forward to teaching at 世界杯2022预选赛录像回放 .
