david webb has over 20 years experience in perfusion education and cardiovascular experience, including serving as chief perfusionist and program director of the vanderbilt university perfusion school where he also co-authored several publications. his research interests include perfusion safety and modes to reduce medical errors. originally from swartz creek, michigan, david joined the air force out of high school and received his bachelor of science from the university of colorado. a master of perfusion soon followed from the milwaukee school of engineering. david has resided the past 25 years in nashville, tn, with his wife, cassie, also a cardiovascular perfusionist. his son, micah, is off to college this fall. david looks forward to educating a new generation of perfusion students. in his spare time david can be found in fellowship at 24 church in pleasant view, tn and on the golf course chasing a white ball.
