bryan stephenson has taught in the ljs program since 2008. he has been a practicing criminal attorney for over 15 years, and represents clients in a variety of courts throughout middle tennessee. a criminal defense attorney, bryan’s practice covers pretty much anything that could land you in jail. prior to defending clients, he spent 3.5 years as an assistant district attorney for davidson county. he has extensive knowledge of the tennessee justice system and has conducted hundreds of court proceedings. he has lectured to other attorneys at various cle programs across tennessee. he is a member of the tennessee association of criminal defense lawyers, the dui defense lawyers association, and the nashville bar association. bryan earned his law degree at pepperdine university school of law. selected to the order of the barristers, bryan was a delegate to numerous national moot court competitions. he served on the pepperdine law review, and his article, “i’m so lonesome i could cry, but could i sue: whether ‘interacting with others’ is a major life activity under the ada”, 31 pepp. l. rev. 773 (2004), was selected for publication. before pepperdine, bryan graduated from 世界杯2022预选赛录像回放 with a degree in mathematics. he grew up in oak ridge, tennessee. bryan lives in middle tennessee with his wife and children, where he is an active church member, avid titans fan, and a competitive adult-league soccer player.
