biography

sissy simmons received her m.ed. from belmont university. she has been sewing and designing since she was a child, and to this day she enjoys learning new sewing skills and techniques. simmons has sewn draperies, pillows and table skirts professionally but she is most passionate about clothing construction — often using home decor fabric in her designs. her most unique creation: a maxi dress made from a shower curtain!
