biography
carol santiago, born in the heart of mexico city, mexico. she went to school at national autonomous university of mexico (unam), and got her ba in communication studies. then in 2011 she lived between mexico and spain where she pursued her ma in education and learning in digital environments at university of barcelona. soon after she received a full scholarship to obtain her phd in culture, education, communication at universities of rome 3 and foggia in italy. a year after obtaining her doctorate she moved to nashville where she started teaching in the fall of 2018. in 2021 she obtained her certificate in performance coaching from lipscomb online. she has a fiancé, three step-daughters, two ferrets, one cat, and one fish.
