caterina messina is a native italian speaker who grew up in a small town in the north of italy, where she attended la facolta' di economia politica and received her master in economics. through the university of trento she won an internship in collaboration with a website on italian-american culture based in san mateo, california, where she worked for six months. during this time she realized how much she enjoyed helping others learn italian. shortly after that she started teaching private and group classes of every level of italian: beginner, intermediate, advanced and conversational at the tennessee foreign language institute in nashville, where she also did translations. in 2008 she started teaching at vanderbilt university, where she taught elementary italian i & ii classes until 2017, when she came to 世界杯2022预选赛录像回放 . at lipscomb she started the italian program on campus where she has been teaching elementary italian i & ii in collaboration with lipscomb's global learning italian program in florence. her focus and goal is to grow interest in the italian language and to help students achieve proficiency in italian in the 4 areas of communication: writing, reading, listening and speaking.
