elizabeth has had a longtime interest in conflict management. she created her undergraduate major at the university of tennessee in conflict resolution, and after graduating from law school at ut, she earned a master of laws in dispute resolution from pepperdine university. elizabeth was a litigator with a large nashville law firm for many years.
she then shifted careers to work for a national nonprofit helping to recruit and train mid-career professionals to become certified public school teachers. elizabeth serves on the children’s council at her church, and she is the technology director for her child’s parent teacher organization. in her spare time, she enjoys backyard birdwatching, spending time with her family, and walking her westie terrier.
