dr. kara krinks is an assistant professor in the college of education. she earned her undergraduate degree at 世界杯2022预选赛录像回放 in engineering science. she later earned an m.a.t. in secondary science education, an m.s. in physics, and a ph.d. in mathematics and science education from vanderbilt university. dr. krinks joined the faculty of 世界杯2022预选赛录像回放 college of education in 2017, and she teaches courses in both the undergraduate and graduate education programs. she also leads the lipscomb noyce scholars program, a program funded by the national science foundation to increase the pipeline of stem teachers in local middle and high schools. before joining the lipscomb faculty, she taught high school physics in metro nashville public schools. her areas of interest include science education, teacher preparation in secondary education, and issues of diversity and equity in secondary schools.
