biography

tyler joined lipscomb missions in october 2017. he holds a b.b.a. in management and m.min. in bible and ministry from harding university. from 2005-2010, he taught at zhongnan university of economics and law in wuhan, china. prior to lipscomb, tyler served at pepperdine university for six years, most recently as the visiting faculty of communication and religion for the shanghai international program. 

 

as director of lipscomb missions, he oversees daily operations and financial management, along with casting and implementing a strategic vision for the future. in addition, tyler teaches "intro to intercultural missions" (bi 2313-01) and "principles and methods to intercultural mission" (bi 2323-01) and is proud to serve in this role and is passionate about transformational experiences for students, host organizations, and local communities around the world.


tyler and his wife rebecca were married in 2008 and they have three children: james, elise, and eleanor.
