biography
dr. johnson is a professor of leadership and practice within the college of leadership and public service at 世界杯2022预选赛录像回放 in nashville, tn. his role is to provide classroom instruction to graduate students interested in becoming more effective leaders across a wide array of disciplines. this role also includes working closely with students in career planning and individualized learning projects. prior to joining 世界杯2022预选赛录像回放 dr. johnson served as a professor of practice within the herbert college of agriculture at the university of tennessee. his role was to provide classroom instruction in project-based courses using experiential learning techniques to deepen student understanding of business and leadership principles. in addition, he served as the interim department head for the department of agricultural and resource economics. the majority of dr. johnson’s career was spent within the financial services industry and culminated in his role as president and chief executive officer of farm credit mid-america, a $35 billion financial cooperative which serves over 100,000 members in indiana, ohio, kentucky, and tennessee. overall, dr. johnson has nearly 40 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in direct lending, risk management, business operations, information services, higher education and civic engagement.
