matt huesmann is a cinematographer, writer and director in film, a commercial photographer, and a writer and producer in the music industry. he holds a bachelor's degree from the ohio state university in music theory and composition. his illustrious music career includes producing the largest-selling kids music line of all time while also writing over fifteen no. 1 songs for contemporary christian artists and receiving multiple dove nominations and awards. his passion for photography launched him into the world of visual arts and cinematic storytelling. after having worked on over 85 television shows, national award shows, cma festivals, television commercials, feature films and corporate creative events, he attended lipscomb to earn his mfa in film and creative media. as an adjunct professor, he inspires, mentors and teaches the next generation of filmmakers while also co-writing and directing a multipart documentary series called “the history of boardgames.” matt lives in franklin, tennessee, with his wife krystal. they have three grown children.
