aaron teaches undergraduate and graduate classes in ethics. he holds a phd in ethics and society from vanderbilt university. an ma in theology & biblical studies from fuller theological seminary, an ma in education & counseling from san diego state university, and a ba from ucla in anthropology. his research interests include the ethics and theology of martin luther king, jr., divine command ethics, virtue ethics, emotion and embodiment in worship and religious experience, and revivalism. he and his wife mimi have two adult children. he is founder and ceo of as one christian diversity, a consulting agency that helps christian organizations pursue biblical unity and belonging. he also enjoys riding his motorcycle, writing and recording music, and watching action movies.
