biography
dr. hamblin has been practicing in clinical pharmacy with a focus in critical care/trauma for over 10 years. she graduated from the university of mississippi school of pharmacy in 2007. she completed her first year of residency training at methodist university hospital in memphis, tn in 2008, followed by her pgy2 critical care residency at greenville memorial medical center in greenville, sc in 2009. she holds board certification in pharmacotherapy and critical care pharmacy. she practiced as the trauma critical care clinical pharmacist at vanderbilt university medical center from 2010-2018. since that time, dr. hamblin has transitioned her practice site to focus on the care of traumatic brain injury patients, and she currently serves as the clinical pharmacist in the vanderbilt traumatic brain injury center. dr. hamblin is able to participate in the care for survivors of mild to severe traumatic brain injury in this multidisciplinary clinic setting. her research interests include traumatic brain injury, venous thromboembolic prophylaxis, intrapleural alteplase, and analgesia. dr. hamblin has a range of precepting experiences with students on advanced pharmacy practice experiences (appes) and as a pgy1/pgy2 residency preceptor. as a clinical pharmacist, dr. hamblin has precepted over 50 students and residents. she has served as a pgy1 residency coordinator and pgy2 critical care residency program director during her career, and she currently works as the lipscomb coordinator for the vanderbilt-lipscomb critical care fellowship training program affiliated with the critical illness, brain dysfunction, and survivorship (cibs) center at vanderbilt university medical center. dr. hamblin is actively involved in the society of critical care medicine (sccm), the american college of clinical pharmacy (accp), and the tennessee society of health-system pharmacy (tshp). she also serves on the editorial board for critical care medicine. within the 世界杯2022预选赛录像回放 college of pharmacy, dr. hamblin primarily teaches in pharmacotherapy lecture series, critical care elective, coordinates the applied pharmacotherapy course series, and precepts appe students. she also coordinates and teaches the pharmacotherapy and medical therapeutics course series in the school of physician assistant studies and teaches within the school of nursing at 世界杯2022预选赛录像回放 . during her free time, dr. hamblin enjoys yoga, rowing, hiking, and traveling with family.
