abstract
guy capuzzo revisits the omnibus progression by considering the omnibus in a new light, capuzzo examines enharmonic transformation and modulation in the common-practice repertoire of mozart, beethoven, chopin, and brahms. capuzzo then considers its role in post-tonal music.
