the college of health sciences mission trips are interprofessional with students from kinesiology, nursing, nutrition, pharmacy and physician assistant programs.

in december, lipscomb college of pharmacy and health sciences along with belmont college of pharmacy will lead a joint medical mission trip to honduras. the students and faculty from both lipscomb and belmont will partner with jovenes en camino to meet medical needs in rural honduras. during the week, team members will participate in triage, assist physicians in seeing patients, and provide pharmacy services such as patient counseling and care, prescription dispensing, and more. some of these clinics will take place on jovenes campus in the newly constructed pharmacy that both schools help build. the team will also conduct mobile medical clinics in the el zamorano community and assist jovenes en camino in their other daily ministries and spiritual outreach.
this team will serve at the hope medical clinic in destin, florida. they will provide free, volunteer and donor-driven health care for the working uninsured and the medically underserved.

in partnership with the landmark church of christ in montgomery, alabama, a team of students, alumni, and faculty from lipscomb's school of nursing will spend two weeks serving alongside the staff of blessings hospital in lumbadzi, malawi. the team will provide assistance in the hospital itself, mobile medical clinics, and more.
