mba program

the mba is a lock-step, 36 hour program that is taught in a cohort format.

mba required courses (27 hours)

mba elective courses (9 hours)

students enrolled in the fast track 11 cohort will complete nine hours of bu 661v (professional competency development) across the program. these hours count as the student’s elective hours. students will complete this cohort in 11 months (june through may).

students enrolled in the professional or hybrid cohorts select nine hours of electives from any courses in the elective listing. students complete the professional cohort in 22 months (august of the first year through may of the third year), and the hybrid cohort students complete their program in 16 months (august of the first year through december of the second year).

courses designated by bu/macc/ha are offered by the college of business. such elective courses may be taught on weekends and/or weeknights in online-synchronous or in-person formats, subject to instructor and program director’s discretion. the remaining elective courses are offered by other colleges, and specific course timing may not coincide with the mba schedule.
