completion of 13 hours of electives chosen from the following list or additional secondary lessons (up to 6 hours) or ensembles (up to 4 hours):

additional requirements:

private lessons at the 2000 level (50-minute, 1-hour credit) (minimum of 6 hours)

participation and satisfactory grade (for credit) in primary ensemble (minimum of 4 hours)

participation and a satisfactory grade in mu 2000 (music seminar) during each semester the student is enrolled (up to 6)

additional secondary lessons may be added up to 6 hours in order to meet degree requirement hours. if secondary area is piano, those hours must be taken after successful completion of proficiency.

additional secondary ensembles may be added up to 4 hours to meet degree requirement hours. (students may take additional ensembles for no credit)
