private lessons for 2 credits each semester on primary instrument. (total of 16 hours) a minimum of 8 hours must be taken at the 3000 level. 

participation and satisfactory grade (for credit) in assigned ensemble during each semester the student is enrolled (up to 8)

participation and satisfactory grade in secondary ensemble can total up to 4 hours towards degree completion.

participation and a satisfactory grade in mu 2000  (music seminar) during each semester the student is enrolled (up to 6)
