as a nurse, the care of patients is the foundation for any thriving health care system. 世界杯2022预选赛录像回放 ’s school of nursing is here to help students reach higher and fulfill the call to nursing.

mission:

we are a christ-centered community seeking to equip and empower professional nurses for holistic, safe, compassionate, lifelong service to humankind.

purpose:

to prepare professional nurses to demonstrate the pursuit of excellence in christian leadership and  professional nursing in order to competently and compassionately meet the needs of society.

core values:

the following core values are in addition to the university’s eight core values to: love god; serve others; respect all; pursue joy; seek to learn; embrace collaboration; deliver our best; and create solutions.

  • truth & grace

we believe that the holy bible is the true word of god; that truth and grace came through jesus christ; and that we are called to embrace and share that truth with grace as we care holistically for others. (john1:1-18; matthew 5:13-16; romans 12:2)

  • humility

we believe that humility is esteeming the interests and needs of others before our own; that humility is essential in caring for the whole person; and that jesus was the greatest example of humility. (romans 12:3; philippians 2:1-11)

  • compassion

we believe that compassion is the empathetic consideration of another’s suffering with a deep desire to alleviate it; without compassion one cannot provide holistic high quality care of those entrusted to them; and that remaining in close relationship with jesus christ through the holy spirit protects us from fatiguing of our compassion. (john 15:1-17)
