sw 3533 - human behavior and the social environment i (3) f this course focuses on the diversity of individuals, examining the biological, social-structural, psychological and cultural sources of human behavior. systems theory and an ecological perspective are utilized in understanding the development of individuals and families throughout the life cycle. a planned change model approach provides the framework for addressing individual and family issues within the context of the environment in which they exist.
