msps 2403 - advanced biopharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics (3)

this course focuses on understanding renal and hepatic clearance concepts and its application to predict potential drug-drug interactions as well as designing individual dosage regimens to normalize drug exposure in patients with altered clearance pathways. additional areas of focus include an overview of protein therapeutics and pharmacogenomics as it relates to their potential impact on drug therapy, drug delivery, drug disposition, and drug response for both small molecule and protein-derived drug products.
