this course will prepare the student by developing their statistical thinking. they will learn that statistics is an investigative process of problem-solving and decision-making. there will be a focus on conceptual understanding through working with real data that has a context and a purpose. technology will be used to explore concepts and analyze data. both statistical literacy and statistical methods will be addressed. this course will also prepare students by laying a solid base of understanding and practice of statistics. this course is only available to fully-online students.
