focuses on the major drug classifications, principles of drug action/ interactions and nursing implications. an introduction to pharmacologic knowledge, clinical foundations for drug use as a treatment modality and the role of the nurse in drug therapy are presented. current trends in pharmacologic therapy will be discussed.
