this course will introduce topics in study design and analyses. topics will include: types of studies, sample size, methods for categorical data, analysis of variance, simple and multiple regression, logistic regression, time series. and introduction to statistical software, such as r and advanced excel techniques. prerequisite: ma 3123 with a minimum grade of “c.”
