this course gives students an overview of christian pastoral leadership principles found in the bible and in classic and contemporary resources (readings, lectures/sermons, and podcasts). the course covers a wide variety of perspectives, from one’s own spiritual formation to organizational paradigms. it moves from principles to practice, so that students may apply the principles to specific leadership contexts, emphasizing congregational application but also imagining other ministry contexts.
