this course builds on the skills developed in flat pattern i by introducing more advanced textiles. the focus is on patterns and techniques using knitwear, tailoring, and non-traditional materials. an in-depth study of the interaction between materials and design will prepare the student to use advanced design skills in completing projects for presentation, exhibition, and the runway.
