an introduction to chemistry that covers the general structure of matter and types of bonding. special emphasis is given to the different classes of organic compounds and their reactions. this course is designed to meet the needs of nursing and nutrition/dietetics majors. special emphasis is given to application of organic chemistry to medically related topics.
