course topics include flight and flight vehicles both within and outside the atmosphere, airfoil and wing aerodynamics, aircraft performance, an introduction to aircraft stability and control, orbital mechanics, atmospheric re-entry, air-breathing and rocket propulsion systems, aerospace structures and materials.
