adv 6043 - layout, copy and design efficacy variables (3) su this course provides a comprehensive advanced study of the theory, research, variables, factors, and practices related to advertising layout, copywriting, and advertising design as a specialized application of professional advertising communication. the effectiveness of design elements includes visual images, text, sounds, themes, and color in aesthetic advertisements. using foundational and contemporary research findings, normative models, theoretical constructs and emerging patterns, trends and practices this course provides a review of the uses, effects and impacts of both traditional and non-traditional advertising.
