bms 5113 - biomolecular laboratory i (3) a course designed to give graduate students hands-on experience with techniques common to molecular research laboratories. students will learn how to perform common research methods and troubleshoot those methods when problems arise. techniques will include: reverse-transcriptase pcr, basic cell culture, immunostaining and microscopy, and protein interactions and analysis including sds-page and western blotting. this laboratory is a foundation for the biomolecular lab ii and capstone project.
