bi 4073 - entrepreneurial implementation (3) sp

sociologists have coined the phrase “third places” to describe public places on neutral ground where people can gather and interact. these places are anchors of community life that facilitate and foster broad, creative interaction. jesus often engaged people in these vital intersections of community and life. this course will equip students to construct a theology of place, cast an entrepreneurial vision, and implement practical tools for creating communal places in public spaces. students will consider local and global socio-economic needs and learn how to use an entrepreneurial mindset to develop sustainable strategies as solutions. this class will offer an experiential learning opportunity for students to learn from existing structures and then build out a plan for a missional community.
