ed 3543 - instructional methods for special education (3) f


educating students with disabilities requires knowledge about the general curriculum, instructional strategies, and learning theories while balancing the special accommodations and strategies that might be needed based on a learner’s learning style. this course will introduce both general and specialized curricula that might be used with students with disabilities. research- based instructional methods for problem solving, comprehension, memory, and other related deficits will also be discussed. special education majors will take a 3 hour practicum course along with this course in which students can observe and practice the instructional strategies they are learning.
