functions and limits, differentiation of polynomial and trigonometric functions, applications of the derivative, antidifferentiation, the definite integral, transcendental functions, and l’hopital’s rule.
prerequisite: ma 1123 with a minimum grade of “c,” or ma 1135 with a minimum grade of “c”; or a semester of high school trigonometry and at least a 26 act (or 620 sat or 25 clt) math score or a semester of high school trigonometry and at least a score of 30 on lipscomb’s math placement test.
