phie 2511 - introductory pharmacy practice experiences iii (1)

the fall semester ippe-iii course requires student pharmacists to complete 3 separate pharmacy practice experiences (5 weeks per experience) at assigned practice sites. assigned practice sites include community pharmacies, institutional health system pharmacies, and/or specialty pharmacies. student pharmacists will continue building upon their knowledge and experience from ippes i and ii, with additional emphasis on: enhanced knowledge of drugs and disease states; enhanced competency in developing a patient plan of care; introduction to implementing a patient plan of care; and interprofessional collaboration with other health care disciplines. student pharmacists will receive credit for 60 ippe contact hours.
