the college of business cultivates partnerships and develops experiences for students to engage with proven business leaders, the nashville community and the world around us.
through the use of a variety of experiential learning opportunities and innovative projects embedded in the academic curriculum, a robust professional development program, and extracurricular activities, the college of business seeks to equip our students with all of the tools they need to be successful. our student clubs and organizations expose students to a vast array of activities and ideas to enhance their coursework and technical business skills.
our executive-in-residence program and six volunteer advisory boards provide our students with opportunities to connect with external business leaders and benefit from the wisdom of some of the brightest business minds. these key partnerships enhance lipscomb’s long-standing strengths and advise our leadership on emerging opportunities for developing market-driven programing.
above all, we strive to instill a strong sense of service and christian faith in our graduates as we work to be leaders in christian business education. each year, students, faculty, and staff participate alongside each other in service opportunities to benefit the nashville community. chapel services, held several times each semester, feature business leaders or young business alums from diverse backgrounds who are selected because they love god and love business. speakers have included missy wallace, founder and executive director of the nashville institute for faith and work, and winston justice, a former nfl offensive lineman who is now vice president and financial advisor at bernstein private wealth management.
