unlike many film programs around the country, our program emphasizes a close relationship with theatre — a collaboration that results in strong content. you will take at least one acting class and have the option to take extra theatre courses. our curriculum ensures you will have a solid foundation of storytelling — from writing to production, you will understand what makes a story worth sharing and the many aspects of successfully executing that story. this, we believe, is what will set you up for success.

capstone projects are the culmination of your learned skills to create something unique. they are all your own — your concept and story, told in your style. your work will consist of deep level storytelling, complex characters or subjects, and high-level production quality, which you will be expected to showcase to audiences in festivals and events.
