racquet club boasts state-of-the-art tennis facilities for our students, faculty, staff and local community. both social and instructional activities are available, serving all ages and all skill levels. the mission of the 世界杯2022预选赛录像回放
racquet club is to promote health and wellness and to develop physical growth and character through its programs.
facilities
the lrc welcomes the public to utilize the courts, club house and participate in programs. entrance to the club is located through the north tower of the west parking garage. all play must be registered at the pro shop desk. court fees are $15 per hour or $20 for an hour and half for tennis, and $15/person for pickleball. court reservations can be made online via email, or calling the desk.

- we are currently a non-membership club. open play reservations will be first come first serve.
- although we are a public facility that is non-membership, you will have amenities such as restrooms, ice machines, and showers if needed.
- nets, permanent lines, water, stadium seating, lighting, and newly resurfaced courts.
* please keep in mind we are also a ncaa tennis facility. therefore, our courts must be at ncaa standards for college matches. we want to extend our facility into the community to allow for pickleball play, but we need you to help us keep our courts nice. we hope to also have the ability to host college-level tennis matches. how can you help?
guidelines
- if you bring a chair, don’t slide your chair as it will mark the court.
- wear non-marking court shoes.
- if the gate is locked, please don’t climb or pull the fence. you can call the facility line at 615-966-5611. if the desk line doesn’t answer or if there is an emergency the facility director’s cell is 615-308-3275.
- if you see trash, pick it up.

rules
we look forward to helping grow the sport of pickleball and building a community through our courts. we do ask you to abide by some general open play rules:
- be kind and respectful. if there are more than 24 people, please rotate off by 4’s. if there are less than 24 people, please rotate off by 2’s.
- if you want to play past the 2 hours, please see attendant to add time on.
- all levels welcome!
- please no alcohol at the facility.
closures
as we grow, we will continue to make changes and also add offerings to hopefully make this the best pickleball experience possible for you! please check our website and social media lipscombracquetclub for court closures. we will have three weekend closures this fall as of now:
- aug 19th-20th for a usta junior tournament
- september 8th-10th apa pickleball tournament (feel free to sign up through the apa)
- september 15th-17th university tennis tournament
open play starting monday, may 13th
sign-ups begin 15 minutes prior to each session. this is first come first serve! an attendant will be outside the pickleball courts to confirm your spot and payment.

our pickleball courts are located along granny white next to the soccer field. best gpa address is 4112 belmont blvd nashville, tn 37215. park on the lower level of the parking garage, the door on the south side will lead directly to the pickleball courts.

the lipscomb racquet club opened in april 2010 and houses the home courts for the lipscomb bison men and women tennis teams as well as the lipscomb academy high school and middle school teams. in addition to collegiate competition, we believe that tennis is a great way for families to exercise together. we have beginner programs for both youth and adults, designed to teach the basics of tennis in a fun atmosphere. we also have clinics that help experience players gain that competitive edge.
even more, if you wish to utilities your tennis skills in a different way, you can check out our pickleball play. pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in america and once you play it, you'll be hooked.
whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, the lipscomb racquet club's adult programs will help you improve your tennis game. even more, we believe that fitness plays a major role in improving your tennis game.
we offer great league options as well. here, you'll connect and compete with others who share a passion for the sport.
clinics are an hour and a half long. if there are less than four participants, clinics will run for only one hour. participants will be offered make-ups for weather cancellations only.
men's and women's clinics:
- men's clinic: working on the needs of the players up through a 4.5 ntrp player.
- women's beginner clinic (up to a 2.5): working on getting the ball in play, developing strokes to sustain a short rally of slow pace with other players of the same ability. learning basic positions for singles and doubles play.
- women's intermediate clinic (3.0-3.5): working on directional control, depth and power above medium paced shots. encouraging more aggressive net play, court coverage and doubles teamwork.
- women's advanced clinic (4.0-4.5): working on dependability of shots on both forehand and backhand, with variety of lobs, overheads, approach shots and volleys to overcome impatience. learning better shot selection and point development.
*when clinics are full at 12 players, no drop-ins will be allowed.
adult summer camps:
the lrc is once again partnering with nike and will be offering a weekend summer camp for adults. these two action-packed days will include fitness training for tennis as well as video analysis of the forehand, backhand and serve. we will cover strategy and help improve technique, so you will leave on sunday a more confident and skilled player.

league play has always brought exciting events to the lipscomb racquet club. sign your team up for a league season or yearly tennis experience. usta and mttl teams are welcome to come and play at the club. for more information please email, racquetclub [at] lipscomb.edu.
the lipscomb racquet club's junior programs are open to players aged 4-12 and of all abilities. these clinics are a great way for your kids to get active, develop team and communication skills and enhance their technical skills.

1 hour private lesson: $65
1 hour semi-private lesson: $37.50 per person
1 hour group lesson of 3: $30 per person

cancellation policy: as a courtesy to our pros and other clients, please allow 24 hours notice for cancellations and rescheduling requests. cancellations/rescheduling requests that occur less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson are subject to a fee equal to the full cost of the lesson.
